A Gervasi Vineyard wedding is a one-of-a-kind Weddin

Gervasi Vineyard, in Northeast Ohio, is one of the most elite wineries in the area. It is also the ultimate choice for a vineyard wedding. No only does it have some of the most incredible sights and atmospheres but there is also so much to do on the property. For example, the vineyard has 3 different dining experiences for visiting guests as well as accommodations for overnight stays.

Gervasi Vineyard is specifically located in Canton, Ohio and known for its Tuscan theme. Guests from all over Ohio travel to spend anywhere from a few hours to a few days here. While here, folks can dine in peace with luxury amenities. The picturesque landscaping and breathtaking views of the lush vineyards and spring fed lake, make Gervasi one of a kind. It is also what brings people back time and time again.

Selective Sound Entertainment has had the honor of visiting Gervasi Vineyards on many occasions. As a Cleveland wedding DJ company, this is one of our favorites.

Gervasi weddings are fairly common and there are 3 different main venues to have wedding receptions.

  1. The Tuscan inspired Pavilion. This is their signature wedding choice for guests up to 300.  It has a beautiful open air design with views of the winery and Spring fed lake. Your guests will be in awe of these gorgeous views.
  2. The Villa Grande. This is an elegant ballroom and will hold up to 120 guests. Not only is it very spacious but it has a warm welcoming atrium as well.
  3. The conservatory. This is a greenhouse with lush greenery and is the best choice for more intimate ceremonies and receptions up to 40 guests.

Many of the ceremonies we do outdoors require our top ceremony sound systems with dedicated sound technicians. Therefore each guest can hear the vows and feel like they are a part of the ceremony. Warm accent lighting in any space is a way to add a bit more intimacy and enhanced the natural beauty of the Tuscan themed pavilion.

Sapphire Creek Winery & Gardens wedding venue has a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. Snuggled among 10 acres of private woods and streams, their grounds are without question, the hidden gem of the Chagrin Valley.  Sapphire Creek Winery & Gardens, has a modern vibe, but still gives you that natural feel.  We did an article on some custom drapery designs that we did during a winter wedding.  In addition, we also did a venue spotlight.

Due to having done numerous ceremonies and receptions at Sapphire Creek Winery and & Gardens wedding venue, we have created a list of recommendations for sound reinforcement. If you follow our recommendations, not only should everything look fantastic but it will sound great too!

  • Extra speakers.
    • If the DJ sets up in the middle area between the ballroom and bar area, you will definitely need extra speakers for the sound to be pleasant for everyone at the event.
  • Live musicians.
    • Specifically during cocktail hour on the deck. It really just fits the aesthetics and sets the tone. Our recommendation is a string trio  for the ceremony and an acoustic guitarist for the cocktail hour.
  • Ceremony sound support
    • Without the right sound system, many of your guests won’t be able to hear you or the officiant.
  • Accent up-lighting
  • Custom drapery
