Sometimes, finding an affordable wedding reception venue can seem impossible. Especially one that feels unique and doesn’t have that old fashioned “hall” feel. Surprisingly, you can find this in the heart of downtown Cleveland! We emphatically believe that Cleveland’s Windows on the River wedding is a perfect choice for many different budgets. It offers beauty, sophistication, and style that won’t break the bank. With 3 different rooms to choose from, The Bridgeview, Riverview or Cityview, they have you covered.

As a Cleveland wedding DJ company for over 30 years, we have been doing wedding receptions at Windows on the River since they first opened the Cityview room 20+ years ago. It has been a pleasure as well as exciting to watch this wedding venue grow.

Located in the old powerhouse on the west bank of the Cleveland flats, Windows on the River offers many different packages that can be customized to fit your needs. Not only can they accommodate a guest count of 300 but they can also accommodate the intimate 50 person reception. Either way or in between, they have you covered.

Spaces Cleveland’s Windows on the River has to offer

Cocktail areas, in most cases, are located somewhere besides the main ballrooms. Therefore, your guests can enjoy the wow factor that Cleveland’s Windows on the River is so well known for. Your guests will be in awe by not only the amazing views but by the grand architecture as well. There are several available cocktail area options.  First is the outside slate patio right on the boardwalk for the Cityview room. Another option is to have your cocktail hour at the Cleveland Aquarium which is attached to Windows.  Other cocktail hour areas are in the upstairs of the old brewery above the snack bar as well as the mid-room behind the Bridgeview room.

Each room has a dedicated area for the dance floor. Since you’ll be using Selective Sound Entertainment for your wedding DJ services, those dance floors will surely be packed the entire night. Enhancing a Venue that is Near Perfect

Enhancing perfection is what Selective Sound Entertainment, Cleveland’s leading wedding entertainment company, does day in and day out. We are also no strangers to Windows on the River. Infact, we are actually one of their preferred Cleveland wedding DJ companies to work with. Again, that shared work ethic goal. With that said, here is how we have helped past couples enhance their special day at this venue.

Lighting

No matter which room you choose at Windows on the River, the right lighting will undoubtedly elevate the beauty of each one. The architecture is fantastic. In fact, it’s probably one the reasons why you chose this venue so you will surely want to highlight it.

The Cityview Room can be easily enhanced with LED uplighting to enhance the brick, walls and support beams. Pin spot lighting is also a nice touch to show off your centerpieces and gorgeous cake. This room is also large enough to be able to utilize club lighting on the dance floor as well as Feature spot lighting for the grand introductions and speeches and more.

The Bridgeview room can also be enhanced with LED uplighting. However, if you want to make a different type of statement, custom string lighting through the middle of the room looks fantastic. Want a truly romantic and elegant atmosphere? Chandeliers are the perfect choice!

Some Unique Touches

Sometimes, with all the brick, couples want to find a way to add a little softness to the area. Custom draping is a simple yet elegant solution. Not only will the draping add a soft touch but it can also add a lovely element behind the head table. The draping can even be highlighted with uplighting. For a more unique touch our lighting team can create a personalized gobo to shine on the draping. Not using draping, but interested in a customized gobo? No problem!
