Tying the Knot at The Marriott
Congrats Amanda and Tom!
There are a lot of companies out there who can produce a wedding and just plug a bride and groom in place to make it the same cookie-cutter wedding at the same old venue. At Selective Sound Entertainment, we will never stand for the same monotonous process that makes so many weddings look the same. One of our secrets comes from our lighting process.
When Amanda and Tom came to us with ideas for their special day, we couldn’t have been more thrilled. To be working with a couple that shines true love and can’t stop smiling at each other means that our jobs become ten times better. We worked for one of our good friends, Maria Kovacevich of Elegant Events By Maria. Maria has an amazing eye for wedding décor and is always looking to raise the bar. We asked her about her favorite parts of the wedding and here is what she had to say:
My favorite choice they made was tying the lighting in and going for different lighting at different times throughout the night. Amanda's Dad really wanted a "pink" look for their father/daughter dance, for his "little girl". I loved that he wanted to customize the lighting to something girly. Changing the color of the lighting creates a mood, and this crowd went wild when we changed things to “party time” and the Mega Bar opened!
Be Seated, who we often partner with for weddings, provided The Mega Bar. One of the main reasons to hire a wedding planner is the connection they have within the industry. This provides for a top-level production that cannot be paralleled.
Genevieve Nisly Photography knocked it out of the park with this one. You can read more about how they achieve their vision on their blog. It was a pleasure to work with them and their photos truly capture the essence of the night.
When it comes to setting your wedding apart from every other wedding, we are the ones who can help. With over 20 years of experience in the Cleveland wedding industry, we can assure you top of the line lighting, DJs, and a memorable night like no other!
